A funeral is not only about saying farewell, but should celebrate the life lived.

People live on through the memories they leave behind, the relationships they had with family and friends, their personality, and passions.

I spend as much time with the family as needed to build a rich picture of their loved one, as seen through their eyes. The ceremony will be a celebration of who they were, telling their story, recalling anecdotes, achievements, and precious moments. We can share stories that bring smiles and laughter, or be reflective and thoughtful. It should be how you wish to honour their memory.

As a non-religious ceremony, we are free to include any music, poems, readings, and tributes you choose. I will be there to guide you through every aspect, and feel it is important that the family feel they have a ‘voice’, where they can read their own words, or ask me to read them on their behalf. Every script is bespoke, and shared with the family to approve beforehand to ensure that it is exactly right for them.

Whether the funeral is at a crematorium, natural burial ground, or another location, the ceremony will be designed to be an apt and meaningful way.

A lovely card from a family stated: (Thank you so much) …. for all that you did and the way that you did it…”
It meant a lot to me.
